Export of E. I. Tanned Hides And Skins Freed

The Government has permitted export of E. I. Tanned Leather on an export duty of 15 percent. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) further announced on January 13, 2000, that the exporters have to register the contracts with the Council for Leather Exports ( CLE ), indicating the price, quantity and other relevant information. The policy is proposed to be reviewed after six months.
