Indian Shoe Federation

The Indian Shoe Federation (ISF) is a select group of manufacturers and exporters of footwear and footwear components. Its members include India's leading exporters whose collective share in Indian exports is well over 50%. Activities of the ISF

• Identification and screening of potential promoters and entrepreneurs. Providing necessary guidance and assistance to selected people.

• Development of components manufacturing infrastructure and promoting indigenous components.
• Organisation of training courses by experts to improve the competence of Indian technicians. Monitoring of courses run by leather institutions and improving the quality of such courses.
• Development of Indian design talent with the help of internationally reputed designers.
• Collection of market intelligence and conducting market surveys.
• Gathering and distribution of commercial and technical information through seminars and publications · Help in raising finance.
• Inviting foreign experts for providing technical inputs for the upgradation of India products.
